iPads have the ability to transform learning in the classroom. Their ease of use, wide variety of high quality applications and their ability to engage, and motivate students makes them top of the list of ICT equipment in many schools. For alternative learners, the iPad holds even more potential. Beyond engagement and motivation, the iPad hosts in-built features that break down previous barriers to learning. This workshop is a hands-on look at iPad features and apps that can significantly change the way students approach learning. It is aimed at teachers of Dyslexic, Dyspraxic and Autistic learners, however, all teachers will benefit from this course.
