eTime has partnered with Edtech/Ultranet to provide support for schools in Canterbury using the Ultranet Learning Management System (LMS). Ultranet was chosen by the Ministry of Education in 2008 to be a development partner for its managed learning environment. Schools purchasing Ultranet as their LMS can be assured that the ongoing development pathway for Ultranet “will in part be directed, supported and funded by the Ministry”.

Ultranet provides a one-stop learning management solution that is very easy to use for managing content. It provides schools with an interactive website, a safe and controlled student social networking area and virtual classrooms where teachers can customise their own classrooms using built-in modules for things such as wikis, discussions, quizzes, resources, slide shows, assignments and calendars. Ultranet can be hosted within the school or externally (preferred option).
eTime provides the following services in relation to Ultranet:

Demonstrations of Ultranet’s capabilities for primary and secondary
         schools
Support in planning the implementation of Ultranet school-wide
Website design within Ultranet, including graphics
Administrator training
Training for teachers on developing and integrating virtual
classrooms within their teaching and learning programmes
Opportunities to learn from and network with other Ultranet schools in
         Canterbury
