On Tuesday 15th June, Danny facilitated a GarageBand practicum at eTime.
GarageBand is a software application that allows users to create music or podcasts. It is developed by Apple and any school with a Mac computer has access to it.
The course was attended by teachers from Timaru South and Omihi School. In less than an hour they had already constructed their first song, and learnt alot about the software.
Later on in the day the teachers learnt about podcasting, and how to load their class podcasts onto a school website. They then added a musical score to an existing movie that they had created.
The teachers were very creative and everyone enjoyed the hands on nature of the course.
